Mike is from the South Dakota/Minnesota area. He was raised as a son of a pastor and a teacher. He followed his mother’s footsteps by also becoming a teacher, having attended Minnesota State for his undergraduate studies with a masters in educational technology from Liberty University. Mike was ordained as a deacon while at Christ Church Ventura and currently serves as a deacon at Christ Our Redeemer. He lives with his wife Jalin, their two daughters, along with a great dane, a cat, and a rabbit.
