Cal Wong was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. As a freshman studying biochemistry at UCLA, while walking to class one day on Bruin Walk, he was struck with the reality that his faith in a random universe was blind as he grappled with the complexity of a single cell. He has been walking (more like running) with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ever since. He describes himself as a Christian who happens to work as a nephrologist. He and his wife Bora got married and moved to Ventura County in 1998 where they raised their three daughters, a dog, and a chicken. He enjoys playing tennis, especially with his family and his ballpup Cleo.
